JOB FUNCTION:
Provides analytical and operational support across the organization’s Total Rewards programs, including compensation, benefits, and retirement. Develops and maintains data, reporting, and insights to support program administration, compliance, and decision-making. Partners with Total Rewards team members, HR, Finance, and vendors to ensure data accuracy, effective program execution, and continuous improvement. Supports plan and program initiatives by delivering analysis, identifying trends, and providing recommendations aligned with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Develops, maintains, and analyzes Total Rewards data (compensation, benefits, and workforce metrics) to support decision-making. Produces recurring and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and modeling to identify trends, assess program effectiveness, and support business and regulatory requirements.
- Supports administration and ongoing execution of compensation and benefits programs, including data validation, audit support, and coordination of transactions. Ensures accuracy and alignment with plan/program provisions and internal guidelines.
- Maintains data governance, controls, and documentation across Total Rewards programs. Identifies discrepancies, conducts root cause analysis, and implements process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
- Supports regulatory compliance activities across compensation and benefits programs (e.g., ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, SOX). Assists with internal and external audits by preparing documentation, validating data, and ensuring adherence to established controls.
- Partners with vendors, HR Service Center, Finance, and internal stakeholders to support program administration, resolve issues, and ensure accurate data exchange and service delivery. Assists in monitoring vendor outputs and identifying discrepancies.
- Provides analytical support for Total Rewards initiatives, including program changes, plan design updates, and cost analysis. Develops insights and recommendations to improve program effectiveness, competitiveness, and alignment with organizational strategy.
- Participates in Company emergency response activities as assigned, including any activities required to prepare for such emergency response.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge Requirements
- Working knowledge of Total Rewards programs, including compensation structures, incentive plans, health and welfare benefits, and retirement programs.
- Working knowledge of applicable federal and state regulations impacting Total Rewards programs (e.g., ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, wage and hour laws), including basic compliance concepts and controls.
- Working knowledge of data management, reporting, and analytical methods, including interpretation of workforce, compensation, and benefits data.
- Familiarity with market pricing concepts, survey data, and benchmarking methodologies which utilize HR-related data points
- Working knowledge of financial and cost concepts related to compensation and benefits programs (e.g., premiums, funding, accruals, and budgeting inputs)
- Knowledge of HR systems, data structures, and reporting tools used in Total Rewards administration and analytics.
Skills Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
- Advanced Excel and data manipulation skills (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, data validation) to support reporting, modeling, and analysis.
- Attention to detail with strong data accuracy, validation, and reconciliation capabilities across multiple systems and sources.
- Ability to translate complex compensation and benefits data into clear, concise outputs for business and leadership audiences.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with HR, Finance, vendors, and business stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with a high degree of professionalism and discretion.
- Strong process orientation with the ability to identify inefficiencies and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an analyst-level role, supporting various Human Resources functions (e.g., Compensation, Benefits, Workforce Planning, Workforce Analytics), with demonstrated application of data/financial analysis to inform decision making.
- Experience supporting compensation, benefits, or Total Rewards program analysis, including data validation, reporting, and process improvement preferred
